Affirmation: I answer the call and follow my joy. I trust where it leads me.

Do you follow joy or do you seek it out? How do you live your daily life, how do you make your choices? If we are choosing to live our lives seeking happiness, do we ever really find it? I will be happy when…. How many times have you heard, do you hear yourself saying that?

Let’s pause for a moment…. take a deep breath… and really taken in what it means to be following joy over seeking it. How does it make you feel when you see yourself choosing to follow joy? Following means you are happy now, doesn’t it? It means you make choices in a state of happiness which in turn guides you to make the choices that make you happiest. Remember we are creating our future with our choices now. As a result you are listening to your intuition, making better decisions, putting yourself in the right place at the right time, and doing the right thing at the right time.

Choose to be happy now. No matter what is going on around you. Your happiness now will guide to you to what you are seeking much faster than if you are hoping to find it later. And you might even discover that it wasn’t what you were really seeking all along.

The concept of following your joy over seeking it was presented to me by Robert Holden, PH.D who is renowned for his work on the Happiness Project and Success Intelligence.

My BFF Bea is with me now. She answered the call. Before she chose to answer she was in a much different state. She had a very hard decision to make but realized something else inside her was calling her. Her happiness was more important. Once she made the decision to answer everything fell into place. I can’t tell you how nice it is to see her smile again.
