Affirmation: Through creative expression I share my true self. I allow my light to shine with the elegance and simplicity of a spirit dancer.

Today’s affirmation came with the help of The Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth. I couldn’t have turned over a better card from the deck. Before I pulled I had set the intention to use images from The art of Lorra Lee Rose for today’s post and the Spirit Dancer card is so fitting for her art.

I saw the art of Lorra Lee Rose at the La Quinta Art Festival the other day and was so inspired by it. I was really in awe when I walked around her booth. Not only did I think it was some of the most beautiful art I’ve seen but I found it touched me deeply on a spiritual level as well. The part that came bursting through was truly my Spirit Dancer.  The faerie in me that loves creative expression and then sharing it with others to see what it stirs in them.

Is there a project in the creative arts you’ve been working on or have wanted to do? Seize the day. Carpe Diem. Explore, experiment and express. Unleash your best fantasies and make them come to life. There are so many ways you can express that inner part of yourself waiting to come out. Write, draw, paint, sculpt, collage, dance. Make a creative visualization board ~ cut out images, phrases, and affirmations and paste them on a board.  Take that beautiful light that’s been growing inside you, shine it and share it with the world.
