Love Your Life ~ Altar for Sarah Pugh | Sunset Season Opener

Affirmation: Love Life! I am aware of the miracles happening around me. I love my life. I AM LOVE.

Last weekend a part of my life was dedicated to honoring the memory of some very special people, Sarah Pugh and DJ/Music Producer Scott Hardkiss, amongst the presence of my extended and soul family at the 2013 Sunset Season Opener. The theme of the weekend LOVE YOUR LIFE!

I met Sarah Pugh a little over 12 years ago through the San Francisco Sunset Party Collective. I can’t express to you how infectious her smile and spirit were. She’s always been such a great inspiration to me. I have many cherished moments with this beautiful soul and they will certainly continue to live on because those moments will serve as divine inspiration to the gifts I continue to share. Most of them involve either dancing behind DJ Sean Murray (Pasean) or moments with the Living Fae Faerie Temple at the Sunset Campout, which typically involved Sarah showing up to help me decorate it at just the perfect moment. It was usually right around the time I was tangled up in the curtains somewhat frustrated. There she would appear, just like a faerie, to calm me down and get things straightened up.

Scott Hardkiss, I was lucky enough to have a brief encounter with back in the mid 90s where I did a short interview with him on a rave docu-film project I was working on called XTV. I’ve been dancing to his tracks for many years but there is one that stands out in my mind. The track that served as a great inspiration to me, my spiritual path, my life journey, is God Within Raincry (Spiritual Thirst). To this day, its still one of my favorite tracks of all time!

The weekened and moments like these always give you perspective on life. They help to remind us what is important, how precious life is, and how much we must love our lives.  I am so very thankful and grateful for all people in my life. Thank you Sarah, thank you Scott. Thank you Sunset! Everyone I encounter is truly a blessing.  So much love to you all!
