How Daydreaming Creates New Possibilities

Daydream, visualize, create and make your dream life your everyday reality.  Relax, and open your mind to receiving.  Allow your thoughts to play the movie and let creation unfold.

You are reading this blog post, this message, because the universe is reaching out to you. It wants you to be open and receptive to new ideas. It’s calling out to you to spend quality time daydreaming. When you engage in daydreaming you allow for inspiration, new possibilities, and ideas beyond what your logical mind accepts. Follow the trail naturally and see where your thoughts and feelings lead you. Be peaceful, gentle and loving. Then write down your ideas and ask for guidance on the steps to take to put your dreams into action. Move forward fearlessly with love. You are about to create something magnificent.

I have some wonderful news about an amazing woman who recently made her dream a reality. I couldn’t be more proud of her, because I remember the day she announced to me that this is what she was creating for herself in her life. What a blessing to have  such an inspiring individual in my life. Her name is Dr. Lori Friesen, she is the creator of Five Steps to Finding Your Inner Happy and is launching a new book  called How Your Dog Can Help Your Child Read, Lead and Succeed. Her dream was to have her program endorsed by Jack Canfield, acclaimed author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and The Success Principles.  She put it on her vision board, voiced it in affirmations, and lived her life in joy and gratitude while it played itself into reality. Within less than a year, she made the official announcement to us all, “Today I celebrate achieving one of my goals on my vision board! Faeries!

Summer Solstice ~ Living Fae

Affirmation: My wishes and desires have been heard. They are carried on the wings of faeries and through divine timing arrive at the perfect moment. I AM the creator of my wishes and desires.

Can you hear them? Listen closely. They are the silent whispers and giggles dancing among the leaves and flowers. They see you. Can you see them?

Whether you can see and hear faeries or not. Whether you are believer in their magic or not. Whether you are believer in their existence or not. Trust! Trust that just because you can’t see, hear or touch something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Believe in the power within you to manifest your dreams and wishes into a reality and have faith that they coming. Have faith in divine timing.  There are many reasons why things do and don’t happen when we think we want them to.

Let go of any controlling thoughts on how your wishes and desires should arrive. Allow them to show you their magic. Its amazing how they’ll pop up on you at the most unsuspecting times if you let them.

Oh, the beauty and abundance of summer.  All the seeds we planted are in full bloom.  Enjoy your summer and enjoy receiving everything you’ve been asking for. Remember to take notice with joy and excitement when they arrive and be sure to express your deepest gratitude for all the blessings bestowed upon you. The faeries tell me there are many.

Believe In Your Dreams

Affirmation: Life really is about having dreams and making those dreams come true. I dream it. I believe it.  I do it.

The affirmation to follow our joy led Bea and I to a place commonly referred to as The Happiest Place on Earth ~ Disneyland.

My Nanny first took me to Disney when I was 8. I was so excited I thought I’d burst. I remember seeing the animal shaped bushes around the park for the first time and thinking, “This place is amazing! How come we don’t have bushes like that?” That same excitement I had when I was 8 hasn’t worn off either, I can’t tell you how happy and inspired I am every time I visit.

Not only is Disney one of our favorite places to visit, we both hold it very close to our hearts for a couple reasons.

  1.  We met there, and we have been friends ever since.
  2.  It’s a place where dreams are made and come to life.  It’s Disney that taught us that you can make your dreams come true, and what you need to do to make them happen.

We haven’t lived in the same place since we met 20 years ago, but we’ve still maintained our friendship and make a point to see each other quite often. I’ve seen Bea’s dreams continue to come true since then, and she’s seen mine.

Before we met, we were going to school in Canada in different provinces.  I was in Manitoba, Bea was in Ontario. We both have similar stories. We decided at a very young age that we wanted to work for Disney. When we told people, more often than not, we were told it was a pipe dream because we were Canadian. “How are you going do that? You’re from Canada,” they would say.  Neither of us knew. We just knew we’d do it. And low and behold, EPCOT was built, and in 1992, during the 20th anniversary of Disney World in Florida, we were both hired to work in the Canadian pavilion on the International College Program.

That’s the thing about dreams. People whether they are aware of it or not have a tendency to question yours. They do that because they don’t know or understand how it’s going to happen, and sometimes we take it to heart and become doubtful. The thing to remember is what they believe doesn’t matter.  It’s what you believe that matters.

You don’t need to know how your dream is going to come true. You just need to know that is, and believe in yourself enough that it will happen. That’s it. If you stay true to your dreams, the universe has a funny way of putting things in place to help make them come true. Your belief is your tool. It’s the hammer that’s going to drive the nail into the board, so keep dreaming keep believing.

Your dreams are worth living for. Dream it. Believe it. Do it. What’s your most impossible dream? Make the magic happen.

Answer The Call

Affirmation: I answer the call and follow my joy. I trust where it leads me.

Do you follow joy or do you seek it out? How do you live your daily life, how do you make your choices? If we are choosing to live our lives seeking happiness, do we ever really find it? I will be happy when…. How many times have you heard, do you hear yourself saying that?

Let’s pause for a moment…. take a deep breath… and really taken in what it means to be following joy over seeking it. How does it make you feel when you see yourself choosing to follow joy? Following means you are happy now, doesn’t it? It means you make choices in a state of happiness which in turn guides you to make the choices that make you happiest. Remember we are creating our future with our choices now. As a result you are listening to your intuition, making better decisions, putting yourself in the right place at the right time, and doing the right thing at the right time.

Choose to be happy now. No matter what is going on around you. Your happiness now will guide to you to what you are seeking much faster than if you are hoping to find it later. And you might even discover that it wasn’t what you were really seeking all along.

The concept of following your joy over seeking it was presented to me by Robert Holden, PH.D who is renowned for his work on the Happiness Project and Success Intelligence.

My BFF Bea is with me now. She answered the call. Before she chose to answer she was in a much different state. She had a very hard decision to make but realized something else inside her was calling her. Her happiness was more important. Once she made the decision to answer everything fell into place. I can’t tell you how nice it is to see her smile again.

A Higher Place of Being

Affirmation: I follow my dreams by allowing my heart to light the way. I dissolve thoughts, feelings and energies that block me and  I open myself up to a higher place of being.

I wrote this post and then somehow lost what I wrote before I could post it. Funny how the words I had written seem to have dissolved and now I’m left with writing some new ones down. I look at it as an opportunity to express myself from a higher place.

When we can let go of unforgiving thoughts, feelings and energies we not only open ourselves up to a different way to being, but we magically open up and light paths which we could not see before. The best way I can describe this is through my actual dreams.

When I’m dreaming, if I become lucid and know I’m dreaming, I’m able to recognize energies in my dream which I am fearful of. When this happens what I do is send that energy love, and sometimes I laugh with it. When that happens the energy magically transforms. It either disappears or becomes something loving and beautiful. The darkness before me in the dream lightens up and I see the most magical amazing things.

Now we can take this same dream work and incorporate it into our lives. When you notice yourself feeling energies that hold you back from showing love, stop for a moment and send it love, laughing is good to do to. When you do that a whole new way opens itself up to you, and that’s when your dreams can really manifest into more than you ever thought you could dream of.
