Affirmation: Dear Joy, I am all yours! What would you like to do with my life today?

What a great affirmation! You can really feel it when you say it to. That one came from the You Can Heal Your Life conference with Louise Hay, Cheryl Richardson, Marianne Williamson, Carolyn Myss, and Robert Holden. Attending that conference was a magical experience for me. Truly!

When you have been doing the work as long as I have attending a conference like You Can Heal Your Life isn’t always about learning something new. But for me, it is always in one way or another transformational. In fact, it’s more about realizing that now is the time. It’s about taking the responsibility that the collective consciousness affects everything. When you hear it like that, you realize it’s not just about you. It not about you, me or ‘I’… It’s about making the commitment to coming into a state of joy not just for your ‘self’ but for everyone and everything.

Words can’t really describe what I gained from it, where it brought me or what it stirred. But I can tell you it did push me a little deeper into where I needed to be, and I am in a very real state of joy. There isn’t much going on around me right now, someone else might even suggest its boring if you look on the outside, but the way I feel inside is honestly so amazing.

Think of what that affirmation is saying. You are speaking to JOY, the joy within you, and you are telling it you surrender to it. You’re saying I’m free today for you JOY, just for you. If you think of how you feel when someone you want to spend time with says that to you, imagine how your joy must feel when you tell yourself that.

What I’ve notice about this state of being is that the more I live it the more my life becomes it. Honestly I’m a true product of this work. I dare you to do it, you might like it. Don’t try.. In the words of the wise sage Yoda, “You must unlearn what you have learned….Try not. Do or do not. There is no try.” So do it!

Remember… when you are saying your affirmations you are creating the future. So even if they don’t feel or look to be true for what’s around you right now, be aware of what you say. Your words have so much power!
